Activating Towfu Pro

Your licence key came by e-mail right after you paid. It looks like this:

TOWFU-7K2QD-M9XVB-3HT0C-WPR4N-E8JZA

Activate

  1. Open Towfu and go to Settings → Licence.
  2. Paste the key. Spaces, dashes and upper or lower case don't matter.
  3. Click Activate. Towfu needs the internet for this one step.

That's it. Towfu confirms the licence quietly in the background at most once a day, never at startup, and works offline in between.

Check a key for typos

This check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Using more than one computer

One licence covers one person on up to 3 of their own computers at the same time, for example a desktop, a laptop and a work PC.

Lost your key?

Enter the e-mail address you used at checkout and we'll send every Towfu key linked to it. For privacy, the reply is the same whether or not the address has a licence.

Your order is also in Paddle's receipt e-mail, which links to your purchase. Still stuck? E-mail from any address and tell us roughly when you bought it.

If activation doesn't work

MessageWhat to do
"That key has a typo"Copy the key from your e-mail again, or check it above.
"We couldn't find that key"Check you're using the newest key e-mail. Use Lost your key? to get all your keys again.
"Already active on 3 computers"Deactivate one from the list Towfu shows. See Moving to a new computer.
"Couldn't reach the licence server"Check your connection, VPN or company firewall. Towfu needs to reach the licence server once to activate.
"Moved between computers a lot recently"A safety limit for shared keys. E-mail support and we'll reset it.
"This key was refunded"Refunded keys stop working. If that's wrong, e-mail support.

Offline, trials and what happens without a licence

What activation sends

Your key, a one-way fingerprint of your computer (derived from the Windows machine ID, so we can count your computers without knowing what they are) and the computer's name as shown in Settings, which you can change. Nothing about your projects, prompts or AI accounts. See the privacy policy.
